ThisValid/UK Market Segment Analyzer
FAQ

Common questions

What market does ThisValid analyze?
UK market only. We use UK-scoped Google search data, UK-ranked SERP competitors, and UK-relevant revenue signals. If your idea mentions another country, we preserve the product context but analyze it for the UK.
Where does the data come from?
Google Keyword Planner (via DataForSEO) for search volume, Google SERP for competitors with traffic estimation, IndieHackers for revenue-verified indie products, Reddit for customer pain signals, and Firecrawl for competitor website analysis.
How accurate is the viability score?
The score is based on real public data signals — not LLM guesses. It reflects search demand, revenue proof in the niche, and competitor structure. It's a market signal, not a guarantee. Always validate with your own research.
What is the market zone?
Ideas are classified into 5 zones: Green (best for solo founders), Yellow (possible with a niche angle), Orange (weak monetization signal), Red (dominated by giants), Black (no confirmed market).
Can I analyze any type of idea?
Any legitimate startup idea works. Illegal, harmful, or physically impossible ideas are blocked. Unusual or niche ideas are fully analyzed — the data determines the zone.
How long does an analysis take?
Phase 1 (score + competitors + demand) takes 25–50 seconds. Phase 2 (competitor strengths/weaknesses, pricing, ads, funding signals) loads automatically and takes an additional 15–30 seconds.
Do my credits expire?
No. Your 5 analyses stay available until you use them — no time limit.
What if the result looks wrong?
Results depend on how the idea is described. More specific descriptions give more accurate results. Try rephrasing with a clearer audience, problem, and product type.
